This is the Mexican Canyon Railroad Trestle, a wooden railroad trestle built in 1900 in the Sacramento Mountains of New Mexico to service the lumber industry. Later, it served as a vehicle to bring tourists to the resort town of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Today it is sadly a tourist attraction that is rapidly deteriorating. The US Forest Service, in partnership with the Mescalero Apache Nation and a wide range of other civic organizations is attempting to preserve this historic structure. Weasel Video Productions is proud to be a part of this effort.
